An update on Aaron...

Aaron is healing amazingly!  When we went to the doctor on July 8th (when I took these pictures) and the doctor was shocked.  The doctors response when he saw it was, "Well dang."  Aaron asked it that was a good dang or a bad dang.  The doctor said he was so surprised it was looking so good.  He thought he would be scheduling another surgery for Aaron to take of what little is remaining of his pinky and the side of his hand.  We weren't surprised by his progress because he had a Priesthood blessing and lots of people praying for him.  Heavenly Father answers all prayers that are prayed in righteousness.  That doesn't mean we always get the answers we are hoping for but in this instant we did.  We felt at peace and were comforted by all the prayers sent heaven ward in Aaron's behalf and we are so thankful for it!  The doctor had another surgeon, who is a hand specialist, come and look at it.  They had him come back on Friday and that is when they ruled out having any more surgery 100% definitively!
Aaron was still taking pain medicine that was pretty strong at this point but when the doctor said he could go back to work as long as he was just pointing and not doing, so he was ready.  He has a ton of houses in the final stages before closing and didn't want to let anyone down...which meant we spent the rest of the day (until about 3:30) driving to different houses he needed to check on.  It was pretty fun to see all the different places he has been working on and to spend the day with him.  I know he is awesome, obviously, but it was really fun to see him in his element.
This is one of the houses he is finishing up right now.  In fact this is where he lost his pinky...
There is the device of torture...
And here are some of the speckles of blood  Aaron left behind.  For losing a digit I thought there would have been a lot more blood but he grabbed it and didn't let go until he was at the hospital...I know it is gross but I am documenting this for posterity.  They may want to know....Poor Aaron...
And here my friends is evidence that just because you have money, it doesn't mean you have taste.  This home owner opted for cheap vinyl flooring in this big ol' house.  Here is a spot were three of the floors meet...They did not think this one through...Not a good combo.  Alone they are not bad.  Together they are terrible!
Here is another really cute house that Aaron built that is about to close.
Aaron had his third follow up this morning and they took the stitches out.  He still has to keep it wrapped up (A huge thank you to Ranee for re-wrapping it every night!!!  I still haven't looked at it yet because I am a big wimp and could never be a nurse) and not get it wet.  He has another follow up next Thursday again.  I should have a sentence to tie this all together but I don't so.....goodbye. :)
