We've been Boo'ed! Last night Jake and I were in the middle of an intense Lego Star Wars Wii battle (Aaron was out checking out a house with his Dad), when we heard a knock on the door that kind of scared us.
I looked out the window because I was a little nervous to open the door. I didn't see anyone and since we have our trusty guard dog, we opened up the door. . .And found a bucket of treats!!!
The interesting part is that Jake had just closed the door (we have a screen door) a few minutes before because he "just felt like he should". I am glad he did because if he hadn't and someone tried to leave something on the porch Sadie would have given them and us a heart attack! She is very barky lately. She is a little paranoid.
We have enjoyed the treats: marshmallow pops, chocolate brownie muffins, and oatmeal cookies. Thank you to whoever gave them to us!
And we are ready to pass it out! Is it wrong to pass along the bucket we got? I don't think so! We have the pumpkins stocked with bat rings, ghost stickers, candy, and a coloring book.
The people we are booing don't read my blog (not many people do) so they won't have any idea it is from us.
This is going to be fun. Aaron and I both predict Jake is going to fall down the steps (he is a wee bit clumsy) and get caught, but we shall see if he can come through in the clutch.
***UPDATE: No falling occurred. Just the delivering of the wrong pumpkin to the wrong house. We had to go back to the house and add a baggy so each member of the family got one. Couldn't do anything about the fact that a more girly coloring book was delivered to a house of boys.***
